Nestled at 575 Chapman Ave, this culinary gem promises an unforgettable journey through the rich tapestry of Indian gastronomy, all while catering to diverse dietary preferences.

As a food reviewer at Restaurant World, I was truly excited to step into MasalaCraft, a restaurant that prioritizes quality, accessibility, and a memorable dining experience. With utilities like reservations, delivery, takeout, and an array of vegan and vegetarian options, it’s clear that MasalaCraft understands the importance of convenience without compromising on flavors. The establishment is not only wheelchair accessible but also welcomes dogs, making it a delightful spot for all.

Let’s talk about the menu, shall we? The appetizers alone had me drooling, with highlights like the Samosa—crisp pastries stuffed with potatoes and peas—and the Onion Bhaji, golden fried onion fritters that are simply irresistible. Each dish bursts with authenticity, a testament to the restaurant’s dedication to traditional recipes and flavors.

The tandoor section is a showstopper. I was particularly impressed with the Paneer Tikka, where marinated cheese kababs are cooked to perfection—crisp yet succulent. The Chicken Tandoori, with its aromatic spices, beckoned me to savor each bite. And I must mention the Lamb Chop—the crown jewel of the tandoor menu—which offers an opulent taste for meat lovers.

MasalaCraft doesn’t just stop at the main dishes. The drinks menu features refreshing options like Lassi in various flavors, perfect for cleansing the palate amidst the rich spices. The Masala Tea encapsulates the essence of Indian comforts, making it an ideal companion for the meal.

This establishment is also kid-friendly, offers catering, and has services such as waiter service and free Wi-Fi, making it a fantastic choice for family outings or group gatherings. The ambiance strikes a balance between casual and lively, further enhanced by happy hour specials and a full bar for those looking to unwind.

The food was great. Prabh was very nice and checked on us numerous times to make sure we were happy. We got 5 different dishes and they were all very good. The ambiance is interesting as they had a huge screen playing Indian music videos and my kids were glued to it even though they couldn't understand a word! I would come back tomorrow night but we have enough leftovers for it!!

This is very near our office and our team decided to visit the place. Loved their buffet! I had a little of everything and almost all item I had was just delicious..just the right amount of flavor for us who just want to dabble in different cuisines, including Indian. At $23 per person, we all left happy and content. Came back at another time for lunch to have some Chicken Beryani and it was, as I expected, very delectable with plenty of chicken -- not all-rice like the others. Their serving is quite large for $18, too. Ambiance is okay, service is okay. Will definitely come back to try their other items.

This was my first time here. Over all, the food was really good, the service was in high detail, and the assistance was perfect. We had early dinner with a group of friends and we had made a reservation. This restaurant greeted up very kindly and helped us the entire time. The buffet was amazing and there were tons of good selections. As someone who doesn't eat a lot of Indian food, this place was really good.

Quickly seated at a clean table, restaurant is simply decorated. Water given right away with options of a hand held menu as well as a QR code. The service was average but since it was just the one guy on the floor doing everything, expediting, register..he did good. Each dish came with a flavor filled bowl of jasmine rice. We ordered the samosas which were on the greasy side but not overly so. The chutney accompanying them was refreshing and delicious. Garlic naan was really good too. We ordered saag paneer, tiki masala, curry chicken, butter chicken and chicken biriyani. Everyone enjoyed everything. Even my eight year old who has become a less adventurous eater filled and cleaned her plate. I must say that the butter chicken and biryani were my personal favorite. If you are in the area, don't hesitate to try them out for some delicious Indian cuisine.

The food, service, and ambiance all created an outstanding lunch experience. I highly recommend. I will absolutely be certain to dine here again the next time I am in town. The lunch Buffett was delicious. Perfect for my vegetarian diet as well as my friend's wheat allergy. Prabh was an absolutely delightful server. She was so helpful, warm, and kind. A 5 star experience to be certain!

Love the food. They're serving authentic Indian cuisine that is some of the best we've had. Came late (45 minutes before closing) on Tuesday night and we were not disappointed. We ordered the samosas (2 veggie samosas per order) which were fresh, crispy, and very flavorful. I asked for fresh green chilis on the side which they provided. For the entree, we shared chicken tikka masala (medium spice) which comes with rice and we ordered a side of garlic naan. The tikka masala was done right and the chicken was very tender. My only comment is the masala was a bit heavier on the butter than what I'm used to, but tasted very good nonetheless. The rice was seasoned with something that complimented it very well. We saw them make the garlic naan from scratch, which the portion was bigger than expected, and the taste was phenomenal. The price is reasonable for restaurant quality food/experience. Our total came out to $30 and some change and we left full. Overall, the flavor profile of everything was truly delicious. If you're looking for an authentic Indian cuisine that won't disappoint you, check them out. 9.5/10
